Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan is set to host the African Leaders 4 Change Awards together with Dr. Mathew Knowles, the father to globally celebrated music diva Beyonce Knowles.
As Shakespeare puts it, ‘some are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them,’ and indeed the last statement applies to the boss lady as good things keep coming her way.
The awards that are slated for 17th this month will take place at the Sun Time Square Arena in Pretoria, South Africa.
“I, Ms. Zari Hassan Tlale will be hosting the African Leaders 4 Change Awards alongside Dr. Mathew Knowles (manager, author and father to Beyonce), ” the flawless slayer posted excitedly.
The African Leaders 4 Change Awards are an annual awards ceremony held to identify, recognize and reward organizations and individuals doing exceptional work in all areas of philanthropic activities.
“The event is attended by top business leaders, prominent government officials and dignitaries, celebrities, influencers, media, as well as corporates across the African Continent and will this year also be made open to the public as 100000 attendees are anticipated,” Zari explained.
The mother of 5 and Dr. Knowles will not only be the night’s hosts but they will be joined by Nigerian actress and philanthropist Omotola Jalade Ekeindþe.
The headline act this year is Ice Prince from Nigeria while other artists like JahPrayzah from Zimbabwe, Sho Madjozi, among others will be performing too.
According to the organizers the event this year is set to be a big African celebration, and the biggest red carpet event in Africa.
