Nigeria’s afro-pop singer and songwriter Yemi Alade is thrilled to perform in Uganda at the Blankets and Wine show happening this April.
The ‘Vibe’ songstress could not hide her excitement as she took to her social media pages Monday afternoon and announced that she will be performing at the 25th edition of Blankets and Wine happening Sunday, April 19, 2020.
“Uganda! I will be performing at the Blankets and Wine on 19th April 2020. Woman of steel World Tour is coming to you. Get your tickets! It’s going to be an African Party!” she stated in a post.
The news got fans and music lovers talking as many re-shared and commented on the post to show their love for the singer.
Following her ‘Woman of Steel World Tour, the fiercely talented singer will be giving fans and music lovers a touch of her music and displaying her ‘Shekere dance challenge’ at the highly anticipated picnic themed afro-pop music festival; ‘Tusker Malt Blankets and Wine’ that will be held at its home venue, Lugogo Cricket Oval.
‘Woman of Steel tour’ will see her traverse the whole of North America with shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Montreal and New York among others.
Alade is an incredible singer whose music tops charts in not only Nigeria but Africa and beyond. She released her fourth studio album ‘Woman of Steel’ in 2019 featuring guest appearances from singers Rick Ross, Angélique Kidjo, Funke Akindele and Duncan Mighty.
‘Woman of Steel’ will be the third tour she is holding following the successful ‘Mama Africa’ and ‘Black Magic’ Tours where she served the African ‘vibe’ to the world.
