Woodball: Kisubi Cut Gap with Botladz as Lilly Ladies Go Top

St. Joseph’s Kisubi technical institute have moved a point below leaders Botladz Woodball club in the latest standings released by Uganda Woodball federation following a convincing double win over UNEB and Titans over the weekend.

Kisubi Entered week eight with 23 points, visit this five behind Botladz but utilized their two games at hand before succumbing to the leaders in the final game of the day.

The corporates came from an identical 2-1 loss to KIU and Stroke to salvage their campaign with a similar win over fifth place Proway.

In the other men’s game, approved Titans continued their poor form in the league that has left them with a dismal one point in 13 outings after losing 3-0 to Proway and Kisubi. Titans have only won 16 fairways.

Lilly registered emphatic 3-0 victories over Kisubi and St Joseph’s to leapfrog Botladz to the top of the women’s table.

Botladz was out of action over the weekend since they had played more games than the rest of the teams.

Zoe also posted a double win with a 2-1 and 3-0 against UNEB and Kisubi respectively.
