Woodball: Ariho Spurs Botladz to Kyambogo Open Glory

Isaac Ariho was crowned the best male player at the Kyambogo wood ball open played over the weekend at Kyambogo University. The Botladz wood ball club star hit 48 and 43 strokes in the first and second round respectively.

Ariho’s teammates John Baptist Kateregga (105), medical Benon Mutumba (106) and Kibuule Franco (110) scored a combined 412 strokes to emerge the best team in the open. Ndejje corporate and Ndejje University finished in the other podium places.

Ndejje University’s Joyce Nalubega hit 99 to crown the ladies winner followed closely by Lilian Zawedde of Ndejje corporate and Trust Brenda from Busitema.

Fifteen took part in the competition.
