After a poor display in the abandoned 2019/2020 season, FUFA Women Elite League side Wakiso Hills WFC has now embarked on making early preparations prior to the forthcoming campaign.
Wakiso Hills has beefed up it’s roster with double signing in striker Patricia Naiga and defender Diana Nagawa, the club confirmed.
Teenage striker Naiga is a student of Mita College School, Kawempe while Nagawa turns out for Buganda Royal Institute, Mengo.
“I have joined Wakiso Hill to promote my talent and help the club win trophies,” Naiga noted.
Wakiso Hills head coach Swaleh Kamalya expressed his satisfaction in the promising players and believes they will help the club gain promotion to the Women’s Super league.
“As a serious club, we are trying to look for new talents to add up the team and cover up those lacking positions like midfield and defence. I am so happy we have got new players who will guide our team up to the top flight.” Kamalya noted .
The duo comes days after the club appointed sports Journalist David Tumusiime as their Public Relations Officer (PRO) joining on a two-year contract.
