FUFA Women Super League side Lady Doves Football Club has added four new signings to its roster ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign, the club has confirmed.
“Lady doves is pleased to announce the signing of four players which will feature for the club with the effect from season. 2020/2021. The arrival of the four players is part of the club’s strategy to attain competitive edge on national scene and on the ground,” read the club statement.
The four signings include Fatuma Nakasumba, Rashida Nankya, Vicky Ajwang and Margaret Namande, each putting ink to dotted lines for three years.
Fatuma Nakasumba joins the Masindi based club from Kampala Queens, Rashida Nankya from Uanda Martyrs Rubaga, Vicky Ajwang from Lango Queens while 15-year old Margaret Namande signs from Kakiri WFC.
Previously, Lady Doves appointed Fred Musiime as the interim coach who came in as a replacement for John Ongodia.
Last season, the Masindi based side finished fourth on the log with 13 points by the time the top flight league was called off due to pandemic Covid-19 pandemic.
