UCU Lady Canons 49-56 JKL Lady Dolphins
(Game 3, Best of 7)
JKL Lady Dolphins are one win away from clinching their first Women National Basketball League title.
The side picked a 56-49 victory against UCU to take a 3-0 lead in the best of seven series.
Jamila ‘Zama’ Nansikombi was again the star of the day with a game high 27 points.

In a low paced game as both teams played with tired legs, JKL drove to a 15-10 lead in the first quarter before UCU reduced the deficit to just a point at halftime with a second quarter 18-14 win.
It remained a close contest with both sides taking turns in the lead but midway through the last quarter, the Dolphins broke away and never looked back.
The Lady Canons who shot 20-38 from the field, registered 18 turnovers in the loss. The side scored 5-10 on the line.
Brenda Kayaga and Angela Zainah Lokwameri scored 12 and 11 points respectively, for the Canons.
JKL who are playing their first finals, will seal their first championship with a win on Wednesday’s game four – Sweep.
