Zama who played the entire game, shot 11-15 on the field with a 4-5 tally from the three point range. She also contributed 3 assists in the victory.

UCU who swept KCCA Leopards in last year’s finals, will now taste their own medicine if they fail to win in game four on Wednesday.

In a low paced game as both teams played with tired legs, JKL drove to a 15-10 lead in the first quarter before UCU reduced the deficit to just a point at halftime with a second quarter 18-14 win.

It remained a close contest with both sides taking turns in the lead but midway through the last quarter, the Dolphins broke away and never looked back.

The Lady Canons who shot 20-38 from the field, registered 18 turnovers in the loss. The side scored 5-10 on the line.

Brenda Kayaga and Angela Zainah Lokwameri scored 12 and 11 points respectively, for the Canons.

JKL who are playing their first finals, will seal their first championship with a win on Wednesday’s game four – Sweep.
