Why Black Panther Actress Lupita Nyong’o Was in Uganda

Last week, we reported how Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o was in Uganda after she was spotted at the MTN Expo at the Kololo Independent Grounds.

We have since established that the Black Panther star was in the country to support her friend and fellow actress Madina Nalwanga.

Madina played Lupita’s daughter in the mover Queen of Katwe and the two become close and remained in touch.

At the MTN Expo, Lupita was there for a few hours to watch Madina act in a musical by Alex Mukulu.

ChimpLyf has established that after the MTN expo, the two actresses visited ‘Muwala Kyuka’.

Muwala Kyuka is a pilot apprenticeship education program started by single mothers and girls at Sosolya Undugu family dance academy.

The program’s vision is to also preach positive vibes amongst young females.

In the program, Nalwanga is one of the funders and is trying to get her celebrity friends to also join her in the struggle of supporting young mothers and girls in slums.
