KCCA FC could have earned three points against Maroons FC over the weekend but this came with a fight unlike in their previous game against Nyamityobora FC.
Mike Hillary Mutebi, the KCCA FC manager conceded Maroons FC played well and made it difficult for his team to be in charge.
” There are sometimes when you have to suffer for results. I think today was on of those because Maroons FC played well. We were not in charge at all and with a few changes here and there, it became a little bit difficult for us,” he said.
” The performance was average but the result was most important for us.” Mutebi added.
Jackson Nunda scored the lone goal of the game in the 31st minute capitalising on a mistake between goalkeeper Emmanuel Akol and midfielder Ronald Orombi.
Mutebi is still concerned about the lack of effectiveness especially in front of goal and thinks they shouldn’t rely on only one person (Patrick Kaddu).
” There is no doubt that we create the most goal scoring chances but we are not effective enough. We do not need to rely on Kaddu alone because everyone can score in modern football and we have so many players that get in those areas but not efficient. ”
KCCA FC is currently top of the table on 21 points and their next game will be at home aga against KCCA FC on 11th December 2018.
