Police Football Club chairman Asan Kasingye has urged his players to remain focused and aim at helping the club achieve its major objective of reviving the past glory.
Kasingye made the appeal while receiving the official kits for the forthcoming 2020/2021 season from the club’s Chief Executive Officer Fahad Lumu at Police headquarters in Naguru on Tuesday.
“I’m calling upon our players to remain united and focused on our main objectives of reviving club glory. I also wish to appreciate the hardwork exhibited by all parties involved in Police Football Club despite the Covid-19 situation,” he noted.
Kasingye added that the club has continued to show progress as it prepares for the next season despite the challenges caused by the pandemic.
“The club has become better without even kicking the ball in terms of organization, equipment and welfare for the players such as salaries without gate collections,” he said.
On receiving next season’s official jersey, Kasingye could not hide his excitement and called upon all the club fans to purchase the replicas of their kits and as well hinted on providing customized jerseys.
Last month, the club unveiled a 29-man squad and will host its games at the MTN Omondi stadium.
