We Are Still Short Of Experience – Ndejje University Coach

Ndejje University Football Club won promotion to next season’s Uganda Premier League after nine years in the FUFA Big League.

Time for celebrations upon achieving promotion is long gone and the University side is planning on how to play top flight football.

With no major signings so far, head coach Raymond Komakech states the club is working around the clock to make sure they add three/four players.

After the loss to Onduparaka FC in the Pilsner Super 8 on Saturday, Komakech stated the current team is good to go but they need to make a few additions.

” I must say we have a good team that can compete but we need to get a few players that have league experience.” he said before adding ” the game against Onduparaka FC has given us a clear image of what we shall face in the league.”

Asked about which department, he thinks is lacking, the coach indicated he needs to improve on the defence and get a striker.

” I think we need two defenders and a good central striker.” said Komakech.

Ndejje University FC won the FUFA Big League last season defeating Nyamityobora FC in the final.
