Wadada’s Azam Goes Top After Coastal Union Victory

Azam FC 1-0 Coastal Union

Nicholas Wadada featured for 90 minutes as Azam pipped Coastal Union 1-0 to go top of Tanzania’s Vodacom Premier League table.

Prince Dube’s second half brace was enough to ensure a second successive victory for Azam FC who now have maximum points after match-day two.

Dube broke the deadlock in the 69th minute before netting the second 20 minutes later, grabbing all the three points for the hosts at Azam Complex Stadium.

After the match-day two win, Azam FC went on top of the table with Six points. They had edged Polisi FC 1-0 in the season opener last weekend.

Coastal Union have now lost both of their fixtures this season having suffered defeat against Namungo FC on match-day one.

The Vodacom Premier League continues this weekend with match day two fixtures, three on Saturday and Sunday and One on Monday.
