Wadada Signs Contract Extension At Azam

Uganda Cranes right back Nicholas Wakiro Wadada has signed a contract extension at Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC.

The former Vipers SC players put pen to paper in front of Azam FC Chief Executive Officer, Abdulrahman Amin ‘ Popat ‘ with a one-year extension deal meaning that the new contract runs up to July 2022.

Wadada joined the club in 2018 from Vipers and his current contract was meant to expire in July 2021.

“We are happy to inform you that we have reached an agreement to enter a new one-year contract with our right defender, Nicholas Wadada,” the club posted on its Facebook.

“Earlier, Wadada’s contract was ending in July 2021, so by signing that new contract will make him continue to remain at the club until 2022.”

“I am very delighted to extend my stay here, I have always wanted to stay and continue to help this great team.”

“It is a good chance for me to continue helping them and I will do my best to make sure they win trophies,” Wadada noted after signing contract extension.
