Uganda Premier League holders, Vipers Sports Club have officially unveiled Congolese striker Cesar Lobi Manzoki as their sixth signing ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Manzoki joins the Venoms on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee and his tenure will reach climax after the 2021/2022 season.
He joins the Venoms having mutually parted ways with Congolese side AS Vita, a side he joined in 2017 and went on to score 38 goals in 58 appearances.
“I am so happy to be here and I want to use this chance well. My dream is to become an important player for Vipers. I hope I can become a starter immediately and hope win some trophies with my new team. I hope I can push my career further. My goals are that simple,” Manzoki told Vipers SC website.
He added, “I don’t regret this move because it took me time to make this decision to move here. I chose the best team out of the many clubs that were after me and I am proud of it.”
Manzoki has also had stints at TP Mazembe and Dauphin Noir De Goma.
The 24 year old center forward possesses a strong reputation and has been a subject of interest from Olympic Club Beja in Tunisia and some other Moroccan clubs.
He joins right back fellow new club signings in Joseph Dhata, midfielders David Bagoole and Ibrahim Orit, forward Jamil Kaliisa and former Express left back Disan Galiwango.
