Vipers Sports Club have completed the signing of midfielder Rahmat Ssenfuka from Police FC.
The enterprising midfielder has become the league champions major signing in this transfer period as the club seeks to bolster their squad.
Details about his contract are still scanty but the talented midfielder has on Tuesday been confirmed as the Venom’s first capture.
Ssenfuka had a stellar season at Police FC despite the team struggling in the second round of the league. With coach Abdullah Mubiru transforming him into a deep lying play marker, the soft spoken midfielder executed the duties to expectations.
He also captained the cops for the bigger part of the season with the first captain Martin Mpuga struggling with persistent injuries.
With Vipers SC poised to lose several players in this transfer period, Ssenfuka comes in as a direct replacement for want away midfielders Brian Nkuubi and Deus Bukenya.
The former Proline FC player is one of the many players that are set to join Vipers SC before the team heads for the CECAFA Kagame championship in Tanzania at the end of this month.
The others include; Godfrey Akol(Kirinya Jinja SS, Martin Kiiza(Vipers SC), Bashir Ssekagya(UPDF FC) and Joel Madondo(Kirinya Jinja SS)among others.
