Uganda Wildlife Authority together with Uganda Tourism Board have today flagged off a team of 6 travel videographers and photographers that will be travelling across the country capturing and showcasing Uganda’s main attractions.
According to Rwamwiri Abiaz a travel marketer, the campaign is aimed at encouraging international travels to start planning their visits to Uganda since the Entebbe International Airport will be opening in October 2020.
“The 15-day campaign will have both virtual components where live-streams will be done through UTB and UWA social media platforms”.
The team among others will also produce short videos on each attraction and a full documentary at the end of the campaign.
Paul Ninsiima the Sales and Marketing Manager of UWA says they have opened up the National Parks for the team to create content and share with the rest of the world.
“As Uganda Wildlife Authority we are excited about this campaign. The world has been in need of some breath of fresh air. We have opened up our parks to the team to create content and share with the rest of the world” he said.
Ninsiima also urged all Ugandans and the rest of the world to join the team online and watch what Uganda has to offer.
“The wildlands rejuvenated during the lock down and there is a lot to see like the new baby gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park”.
The team will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park and many others.
