The Uganda Wildlife Authority has cleared Tourists who want to visit Murchison falls National Park with interest in going for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.
“This is to inform all visitors to Murchison Falls National Park intending to go for a boat cruise to the Bottom of the falls that you can now go and view the Murchison falls from the Crocodile bar” their statement read.
UWA had earlier advised tourists not to visit the particular point because of the rising waters.
“There will be no boat trips to the bottom of the falls due to the high flow of water on River Nile which can destabilize the boats and cause serious problems” UWA revealed on 8th June 2020.
Murchison falls National Park lies at the Northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley and is home to 76 species of mammals and 451 birds.
Some of the activities at the park include Game Drives, Boat Cruises, Bird watching, Hiking to the top of the falls and many others.
