Uganda Revenue Authority(URA FC) have on Wednesday handed head coach Sam Ssimbwa a three year deal.
Ssimbwa together with his new backroom staff have been handed a three year tenure to take charge of the tax collectors up-to 2021.
The outspoken coach came in as acting manager following the resigning of Paul Nkata towards the end of last season.
His backroom staff includes ; Stephen Billy Kiggundu(goalkeeping coach),Robert Mukasa(first assistantcoach) and Augustine Nsumba(second assistant coach).
James Kiiza the club chairman stated that Ssimbwa is a proven coach and will help the club achieve it’s targets.
“ As a club we are delighted to announce Sam Ssimbwa on a permanent basis. He has shown over the years that is a capable coach and we believe he is the right man to lead the club. “ He said.
Ssimbwa also in return thanked the club top brass for the trust and promised to deliver to his best abilities.
URA FC finished 9th last season on 39 points, there worst performance in a long time.
