Wakiso Giants head coach Kefa Kisala has put a denunciation on his charges for missing several scoring opportunities when they were losing against Police FC.
The new league comers lost 2-1 against the Abdallah Mubiru coached side at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on Tuesday evening.
Viane Ssekajugo gave The Purple Sharks a first half lead before goals from Ben Ocen and Pius Kaggwa gave maximum points to the hosts.
“We didn’t manage the game very well, but above all, we created many goal scoring chances but only put away one,” Kisala said before adding.
“We were the better side in terms of creating chances but we were not calm in front of goal and we paid the price,” he added.
A loss left Wakiso Giants eighth on the 16-team table with 13 points after 10 games while Police remained 15th with only five points.
The Purple Sharks next game will be at home against Kisala’s former pay masters Express FC on November 2nd while Police FC will travel to Prisons grounds in Luzira to take on Maroons on the same day.
