UPL: Vipers Up For A Test Against Onduparaka

Vipers Sports Club title credentials will be put to a stern test when they travel to Arua for a rescheduled StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) fixture on Saturday October 26 at the Greenlight stadium.

It’s going to be a tough game for the Venoms especially due to the fact that their previous visits were fruitless.

Heading into their seventh meeting, Vipers have recorded three wins, two draws and one loss out of the previous six encounters.

Shaban Muhammad now at Vipers is the only player to have ever scored a goal in all the three meetings between the two clubs at the Greenlight stadium.

The Venoms are currently leading the 16-team log with 20 points from eight games while the Caterpillars occupy 4th position having garnered 15 points from the same number of games five behind Vipers.

Vipers last away fixture was against Police at the StarTimes stadium Lugogo and the Venoms emerged victorious with a 3-1 win as Paul Willa, Halid Lwaliwa and Karim Watambara did the damage after Hood Kaweesa had given the Cops a surprise lead.
