UPL: Vipers To Test Their Title Credentials Against URA

Vipers SC will resume their Uganda Premier League campaign on Tuesday evening after getting a rest over the weekend following the postponement of their game against Maroons FC due to a Cranes regional tour in the North East which involved a quarter of their  players.

The Venoms will welcome Sam Ssimbwa’s URA FC at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende looking for yet another win in the league to maintain their top of the table status.

Vipers have only won once in the five last games against URA FC at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende meaning that they will enter the game eager to win if they are to claim the league crown.

However, URA FC’s results have been hard to come by, they are seated 10th on the league table with 14 points from 10 games played.

Vipers are occupying top position on the league log with 30 points from 12 matches played and they are yet to lose any game in the league.

The Edward Golola coached side secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Wakiso Giants in the last fixture at Kitende while URA overcame Police with the same scoreline at Njeru Technical Centre.
