Tuesday, October 2

Express FC 0-0 URA FC

URA FC held Express FC to a goalless draw in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

The game had its kickoff delayed as the hosts had not availed enough security personnels. Consequently, each half was played for 40 minutes.

It was a slow start for either side with neither side threatening on goal.

Express FC will however rue missed chances in the second stanza with Ibrahim Kayiwa, Tony Odur and Eric Kambale all coming close.

What the coaches said:
Kefa Kisala (Express FC) – We played well, the boys lived up to the task though we didn’t use our opportunities but I must say that am happy with the performance.

Sam Ssimbwa (URA) – We didn’t deserve to get a point today, we looked fatigued, the team was a shadow of ourselves.
