Defender Mustafa Mujjuzi scored two goals to guide relegation threatened Proline FC to a 2-1 win in the Lugogo derby.
The center-back scored two penalties to end Police FC unbeaten run in the league that had stretched to six games since losing to KCCA FC.
The first goal came as early as the fifth minute when Mujjuzi calmed his nerves to slot home from the spot.
The penalty was awarded after Hamis Diego Kizza was fouled inside the area.
Police FC levelled matters in the 11th minute through Derrick Kakooza’s glancing header off Pius Kaggwa’s cross.
Proline regained their lead four minutes later with Mujjuzi once again converting a penalty when Joseph Mandela was brought down in the box.
The win moves Proline FC off the base of the table to 15 points but remain in the relegation zone while Police FC remains 11th with 21 points.
