BUL FC piled more pressure on coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe and Maroons FC after nicking a hard fought win against the Prison side.
Robust forward Hamisi Tibita scored a stoppage time winner to guide BUL FC to a 2-1 win in the game played at Prisons ground on Tuesday.
The result means Maroons FC remain grounded at the base of the league table with just one point in five games and yet to win this season.
BUL FC took an early lead through Deogracious Ojok as early as the sixth minute but the home side stepped up efforts to draw the game level at the Stoke of halftime.
Journeyman Herman Wasswa for the Prison side as the game was headed for the mandatory break. This was his first goal for Maroons FC since joining them at the start of the season.
Despite efforts from either side midway through the second half, they failed to find the cutting edge until the 90th minute when Uganda Hippos(U20) striker Tibita scored the winner for BUL FC.
The win moves BUL FC up to third place on the log with ten points while Maroons FC sit rock bottom with just one point.
