Viane Ssekajugo scored the all-important goal as Wakiso Giants returned to winning ways by beating Onduparaka 1-0 at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
The goal that gave Wakiso Giants a highly needed win came in the 44th minute with Ssekajugo getting at the end of Hassan Ssenyonjo effort that came off the low base of the post.
Earlier on, Ndugwa forced two good saves from Yusuf Wasswa and also had his effort hit the post in the first half.
After the break, the visitors nearly got the equalizer but Emukule denied Ezra Bida who was through on goal all alone.
Ssekajugo had a chance to finish off the game midway the second half but his attempts were blocked.
The win left Wakiso Giants eighth on the log with 23 points, their next engagement will be in the Stanbic Uganda Cup against Bugoigo on Saturday in Buliisa before a trip to Bul on January 29.
