URA FC Vs Onduparaka FC, 4:00 PM
Onduparaka FC have come to Mandela National Stadium guns blazing to take down hosts URA FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter.
The visitors come into the game on the back of a 2-0 away win over Busia Fisheries in the Uganda Cup – Caesar Okhuti and an own goal lifted the Caterpillars to the round of 32.
The side will look to extend on that impressive performance as they take on Sam Ssimbwa’s charges who are yet to lose a game in the league.
URA FC is also the only team that is yet to concede a goal at home (Namboole), but the visitors come to a familiar territory where they won last season.
Viane Ssekajugo’s lone strike gave Onduparaka a 1-0 victory over URA in Namboole last season. It should be noted that Onduparaka defeated SC Villa in Namboole recently courtesy of Rahid Toha’s early free kick.
Speaking ahead of the crunch tie, Onduparaka’s coach Simeone Masaba revealed: “It will be a bit difficult but we are going to put up a fight in Friday’s game. We need to keep the possession upfront and put up a good defense to make sure we score goals and avoid conceeding.”
Gadaffi Gadinho and Oscar Agaba are set to miss out for the visitors but Abel Eturude and Toha Rashid return to the fold after missing yhs Busia trip.
