UPL: Ntambi’s Indefinite Suspension Headlines Express’ Visit To Kirinya Jinja

Express FC gave club captain Julius Ntambi an indefinite suspension in a bid to maintain their policy of zero tolerance to indiscipline.

The document signed by club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka, seen by this website revealed that Ntambi’s conduct was found to be ‘wanting in several aspects’.

The developments comes days before their match day ten fixture away to Kirinya Jinja SS on Saturday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Charles Mutima, formerly at Nyamityobora FC is expected to deputise at right back to fill Ntambi’s void.

Disan Galiwango, Isaac Mutanga and Shafic Kakeeto are expected to retain their positions in the defence line.

John Revita who had a colourful debut is expected to get his second game of the campaign for the Red Eagles.


Express FC will need to bounce back from their 2-0 loss to Onduparaka in Wankulukuku last Saturday. The club has gone three games without a win (2 draws and one loss).

Express FC are ninth on the 16 team log with 13 points from nine games. The side has won threw games, drawn four and lost twice.
