UPL Newbie MYDA Announces Signing of Paul Kibande

Uganda Premier League newbie Malabba Youth Development Association (MYDA) Football Club has acquired the services of forward Paul Kibande.

Kibande joins MYDA FC on a three-year contract from FUFA Big League outfit Dove Football Club.

The 27-year old has previously played for defunct Victors FC, African Lyon (Tanzania), Soana (now Tooro United), Entebbe Young FC, BUL FC, Kangemi All-Stars and Nzoia Sugar (Kenya).

“We are very happy to have Kibande join our group. He has shown over a number of years that he is one of the best young strikers around. He has great technical ability and a strong character, so he is a good addition for the flying eagles,” said MYDA FC tactician, Abdulsamad Musafiri.

Kibande who will don shirt number 22 at the club, now joins Isaac Doka Mweru, Yukubu Ramathan, Waiswa Ramathan and Waiswa Kasango as the other club signings ahead of their maiden top flight season.

The club has also renewed contracts with last season’s FUFA Big league top scorer, Ibrahim Nsimbe and midfielder Eric Mutebi.
