KCCA FC have a chance to stretch their lead at the top of the table on Tuesday as they take on struggling Paidha Black Angels at StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Fresh from a comfortable 3-0 win against Mtibwa Sugar in the CAF Confederation Cup, KCCA FC will shift focus to league action and hope to maintain their grip at the top.

On 24 points, maximum points will take the Kasasiro Boys four points above second placed Onduparaka FC.

Mike Mutebi, the manager of KCCA FC indicates they will not take their opponents lightly because he believes they will come to put a fight.

” We shall treat thus game like any other. I don’t want to look at Paidha as a weak team and therefore we should come relaxed. We want to win every game we play and therefore we shall come all out seeking for maximum points, ” said Mutebi.

This will be a precursor for the Lugogo based side ahead of the return leg against Mtibwa Sugar in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

Paidha have have a torrid start in top tier league and currently languish at the bottom of the table with just four points garnered.

Whereas head coach Muhammad Kisekka keeps believing the results will come, it seems they will not come as soon as expected despite an improvement in performance.

In Cromwell Abang, Jackson Nsubuga and Andrew Kidega, the Zombo based side will hope to cause trouble to KCCA FC upfront.

The last meeting the two teams came in 2017 during the Uganda Cup final at Green Light stadium in Arua which KCCA FC won 2-0.
