Express FC have had a start – stop performance this season failing to be consistent. Despite greatly improving from last season’s performance, the Red Eagles have not won two games in a row.
The target ahead of their final game in the first round according to head coach Kefa Kisala will be to get maximum points.
They host struggling Ndejje University FC at Betway Muteesa II stadium this Thursday coming from a one all draw against Maroons FC in their last outing.
” We want to go into the break on a positive note and that’s winning today’s game,” said Kisala.
Ndejje on the other hand have had a torrid time in their maiden season in top flight football already languishing in the drop zone.
The University side remain the only team yet to pick a point on the road losing all the six games.
With just 8 points from the 14 games played, Ndejje University will have to put up a better display in the second round to fend off the relegation monster.
Elsewhere, BUL FC fresh from a motivating 1-0 win against SC Villa, they return to action at home against another struggling side Nyamityobora FC.
The Banyakare under coach Asaph Mwebaze have lost several players currently relying on those from their junior team.
BUL FC coached by Peter Onen have had a good start to the season currently 5th on the log with 22 points and have a chance to go a position high should they win today.
In the other games, Paidha Black Angels bottom of the table with just six to points host Maroons FC in Arua while Tooro United take on Bright Stars FC in Fort Portal.
