Tuesday, 6th November 2018
Bright Stars FC pummeled Kirinya Jinja SS over the weekend to return to winning ways after going three games without victory.
The 4-1 win against Kirinya meant Bright Stars FC registered their biggest win since gaining promotion in 2013/14. It was also the first time that they scored four goals in the 156 league games played since 2013.
They therefore head into Tuesday’s clash beaming with confidence and will head Fred Kajjoba hopes they can replicate the same performance they had on Saturday.
” It was important that we got such a win because we had gone three games without winning. I believe it brings back confidence to the team.” Kajjoba told this website.
Skipper Nelson Ssenkatuka, scored twice against Kirinya, his second brace this season which moved him to five goals this season just one short of current top scorer Joel Madondo.
He will therefore be hoping to find the back of the net against Ndejje University. Ssenkatula has now scored 20 goals in the league for the Kawempe based side since joining them past season.
On the other hand, Ndejje University come into this game low on confidence after BUL FC condemned them to their worst defeat(4-1).
The only hope for the University Lions is that all the six points they have at the moment have come at home.
They will miss the services of Francis Onekalit who got sent off in the game against BUL FC on Saturday.
Bright Stars FC are fourth on the log with 11 points while Ndejje University FC occupy tenth spot on six points.
