
The Ministry of Health has on Wednesday confirmed 124 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda bringing the cumulative total number of confirmed infections in the country to 10,069.
“Results from COVID-19 tests done on 13th October 2020; 124 new COVID-19 cases confirmed. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 10,069,” the Health Ministry announced.
The new cases include 122 contacts, alerts and 2 returnees.
These include; 37 from Kampala, 24 from Luwero, 13 from Kikuube, 12 from Rubanda, 7 from Hoima, 4 from Wakiso, 4 from Amuru, 3 from Omoro, 2 from Gulu, 7 from Jinja, 2 from Kisoro, 4 from Lira, 1 from Kwania, 1 from Masindi and 1 from Mukono.
The 2 returnees who tested positive for COVID-19 arrived from Jordan.
Currently, Uganda has a cumulative total of 10,069 COVID-19 confirmed cases, 6,531 recoveries and 95 fatalities.
