Ugandan Beecham David Okwere, has declared his intentions to run for EALA MP 2017.
“For so long, Generations have passed, up-to-date the voice and vision of call by our great Grand founding Fathers for you & me is to be the future leaders of tomorrow which literally means today. I have no doubt that through your collective efforts and mine, I can truly deliver to serve all our people in East Africa and give them a formidable leadership which is EAC People based right from all our villages, semi Town Areas,Town Areas to the Capital Hills of our Cities without leaving the diaspora to the final August House of EALA in Arusha Tanzania without any discrimination,” he said.
A member of the East African Community Youth Ambassadors platforms, Okwere’s priority policies include expanding employment in the formal sector, mainstreaming and prioritizing young women and men employment in the development frameworks at both East African Legislative Assembly and local levels.
He also intends to strengthen the capacity of the youth to benefit from economic growth and employment expansion.
Beecham Okwere was born in 1980, in a village called Kachoc, Malera Sub-county , in Bukedea District to the family of the Late Charles Paul Erongot and Elizabeth Akwar.
He is the Chief Executive Board Secretary at Africa Leadership Institute (AFLI) where he works together with Hon. Elly Karuhanga, Hon. David Pulkol, Hon. Capt. George Michael Mukula among others with whom they have formed a parliamentary score card which assess the performance of all members of parliament and parliament of Uganda as an institution.
