
A Ugandan woman has died in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Chimp Corps report.
Uganda’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Rebecca Amuge Otengo, identified the deceased as Catherine Nabukenya.
“Uganda has lost a young professional teacher, Catherine Nabukenya, working at Intellectual school in Sarbet- Addis Ababa,” said Otengo.
The cause of death remains unclear.
“She passed on yesterday, 13/6/20 after a short illness,” said Otengo on Sunday.
The development comes at a time Ethiopia is grappling with a high number of COVID-19 infections.
Ethiopia has so far registered 3,166 COVID-19 cases and 55 deaths.
