Ugandan born forward and Bright Stars Football Club player Brian Kayanja has completed his move to Kenya Premier League side Sofapaka Football Club.
On Thursday, Kayanja put to paper a two-year contract deal with the KPL side that will run until 2022 season.
Kayanja, who joined Bright Stars at the start of the 2018-2019 season was instrumental as the Stars claimed a silver medal in the 2019 Stanbic Uganda Cup having lost 5-4 to Proline in penalties during a final played at Masaka Recreation playground.
He joins fellow Ugandan and custodian Nicholas Ssebwato who joined the club three weeks ago from Bright Stars as well.
Sofapaka football club that has won the league five times is based in Nairobi and host their home games at the Kenyatta Stadium.
Sofapaka is currently positioned in the 9th on the KPL table with 26 points accumulated from 18 games this season and will play against Mathare United on Sunday 2nd February at home in their next league game.
