Ugandan fashion designer Abbas Kaijuka of Kais Divo collection last month left many in Nigeria in after he showcased his latest collection at third edition of the Men’s fashion week Nigeria held from 14th -16th December at Oriental hotel, Lekki.

Abbas, who happened to be the first Ugandan designer to walk on West Africa’s biggest men’s run way, was among other 30 international designers that showcased on the big show.

Speaking to ChimpLyf, the designer who was also nominated among the best fashion designers across Africa said it was an honor to be part of the many that showcased his hard work.

“My work was natural and I took time to make it, it feels good that someone out there recognizes my uniqueness and I want to associate with them. I might not have won but seeing models wearing my work was enough for now I know I will win at some point,” he asserted.

This is the second time that the designer has showcased at the event and has not disappointed many.

This Year, the event welcomed over 2,000 guests including fashion buyers, media and fashion enthusiasts to view the collections of young, emerging and leading designers across Africa and the world.

Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria is powered by QHUE concepts, the national leader in pageants, entertainment event marketing and management.
