Uganda v Kenya: Harambee Stars Arrive, Museveni to be Chief Guest

Kenya’s national team, approved the Harambee Stars have arrived in Uganda ready for the highly billed international build up friendly against Uganda Cranes on Tuesday at Namboole.

The team arrived Monday morning aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ 414 and are booked at the Grand Imperial hotel in Kampala.

Meanwhile, dosage FUFA has invited H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the guest of honor for the game as well as during Sunday’s decider against Comoros.


Rwandan referees led by Abdoul Karim Twagirumukiza will take charge of the game. The officials are expected to arrive in the country on Monday at around 1pm aboard Rwanda Air flight WB422 and head straight for the pre match meeting at FUFA house in Mengo.

Twagirumukiza will be assisted by Theogeme Ndagijmana and Raymond Nonati Bwiriza as the first and second assistants respectively while Sabila Ali Chelangat acts as the fourth official.


Mrs. Margaret Kubingi from Uganda has been appointed the match commissioner.

Uganda is using this game as part of preparations for the important 2017 AFCON qualifier match against Comoros on Sunday 4 while the visitors will travel to Zambia.
