The Uganda Travel Month was launched on Wednesday at Prunes Restaurant, Kololo and it is set to take place from September 30th to October 22, 2017.
Uganda Travel Month is the largest experiential tourism marketing event on the Uganda calendar.
It seeks to be one of the top three ‘must visit’ events of its kind on the regional and continental calendar by 2018.
“This is going to be the second edition of Travel Month; the trips are cheap and yet give you an experience of a lifetime,” said Phillip Kalibwani, Project Manager Travel Month, during the press launch.
He explained that with a fair fee, transportation, meals, endless partying with DJ Simples among other activities will be enjoyed.
“For the 2017 trips, we shall be going to Jinja and conquer the Nile first, spend the Independence weekend in Lake Bunyonyi, then Queen Elizabeth National Park. And the final destination will be Murchison Falls,” Kalibwani explained.
Nile Special’s Francis Nyende called upon everyone to brace themselves for a month full of beauty, big numbers and discover Uganda.
“We urge you to join the trips before tickets sell out and let us discover Uganda through a four week circuit of memorable trips that will take groups out into the wild, at once-in-a-lifetime discounted fees ,” said Nyende the Nile Special Brand Manager.
Sponsors of this great initiative that will make Uganda’s much deprived urban middle class experience the gems that make Uganda a much coveted destination globally are Nile Special, Total Excellium, Radio City, MTN, and Marafiki Safaris.
