Uganda Premier League
UPDF FC Vs BUL FC
Bombo Military Ground
Tuesday, 24th April 2018
Uganda People’s Defence Force( UPDF FC) had a fair start to the second round of the league which boosted their hopes of beating the drop.
However, dismal performance in their last three league outings has seen them move back to uncomfortable territories languishing in the relegation zone.
The target thus ahead of the encounter with BUL FC this Tuesday will be to secure maximum points so as to boost their chances of survival.
Team coach Steven Bogere is aware of the importance of the game and indicates the players are ready to offer full commitment.
“Our performance in the previous games has not been good and we are fully aware of our standing on the table.
Therefore the remaining games are important to us and thus we must carry full commitment.” He said.
With Suleiman Majjanjalo back after serving his suspension, he is expected to pull strings in the midfield alongside Julius Kisambira and Sydney Ssenyonga.
BUL FC themselves have not won in their last three, drawing twice and losing once. Not close to relegation but a positive result from Bombo will guarantee their stay in the league.
BUL FC is 10th on the table with 31 points while UPDF FC is 14th on 24 points.
