Mauritius 3-0 Uganda (25-13,25-21,25-10)
The Uganda Women’s U-20 Volleyball team complete their group games without a win.
This is after falling to Mauritius in their final group game Thursday afternoon in Nairobi.
With no hopes of qualifying to the quarter finals, Uganda went into their fourth game looking to atleast pick a first win at the ongoing Africa U-20 Women’s volleyball Championship.
The first set, however, continued to expose Uganda’s weaknesses as Mauritius took it 23-13.
Uganda improved in the second set but couldn’t match Mauritius. 25-21 the set ended in favour of Mauritius.
The island nation would later seal the victory by taking the third set 25-10 to subject Uganda to their fourth loss at the event.
Two slots to the World Championships are up for grabs for the two top sides at the end of the tournament.
Uganda, however, is out of contention and will now wait for classification games to determine their final position.
