Uganda Cranes contingent has on Saturday morning set off for Nairobi, Kenya ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers return leg group B tie against South Sudan.
The delegation of 23 players and 16 officials departed from Entebbe International Airport at 10:00am aboard Kenya Airways.
Midfielder David Owori replaces suspended Joseph Ochaya who picked a second caution in the first leg on Thursday at the St Mary’s Stadium Kitende (Cranes 1-0 S. Sudan).
FUFA Executive Committee member Hajji Abdul Lukooya Ssekabira is the Leader of Delegation that will be received by the head of advance party Paul Mukatabala upon arrival in Nairobi.
The Bright Stars of South Sudan will target revenge on Monday 16th November as they host Uganda Cranes at a neutral ground, Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi – Kenya.
Uganda Cranes has seven points in the second position, tied up with Burkina Faso while Malawi (3) and South Sudan (0) lie in third and fourth respectively.
