Uganda Boosts Ties with Indonesia as Hyuha is Posted as Envoy

Ambassador Dorothy Samali Hyuha, Uganda’s high commissioner to Malaysia presented her Credentials to Joko Widodo, the president of Indonesia.

Officials say the function was held on April 4, and Dorothy Huhya is now an envoy of Uganda to Indonesia.

She, however, resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Presentation of Credentials ceremony was conducted at the Presidential Palace (Istana Merdeka), Jakarta, according to officials.

Ambassador Hyuha handed over the Letters of Credence from President Yoweri Museveni.

Museveni appointed her as High Commissioner of Uganda to Malaysia.

Officials, in a statement, said that presentation of Credentials to the President of Indonesia “will help to enhance the Bilateral relations between Uganda and Indonesia from strength to strength.”
