University Football League

YMCA 0-1 St Lawrence University

Isaaya Sabiiti scored a late strike was enough to see St Lawrence University (SLAU) through to a narrow 0-1 away victory against YMCA in the University Football League on Wednesday.

Sabiiti scored a 76th minute tap in off a Kasule Ibrahim cross to give the visitors maximum points as they walked away from Buwambo campus.

This was SLAU’s second successive victory in this campaign after a 4-1 victory against Bishop Stuart in their opening group D fixture.

YMCA shot stopper, Mark Esalu kept out Ibrahim Kasule after 13 minutes before Mugisha Bulasiyo blocked Bunyanga Bruno’s effort in the 37th minute.
