Two Remanded To Luzira Prison Over Leaking Martha Kay’s Nudes

Two suspects, a one Herbert Arinaitwe, 27 and Farid Mukiibi, 34 have been remanded to Luzira Prison by Buganda Road Chief Magistrate for charges in connection with the leaking of the nude photos of socialite Martha Kagimba aka Martha Kay in May this year.

While appearing before the court yesterday, the duo were slapped charges of aggravated robbery and offensive communication under the computer misuse act.

The prosecution alleges that Arinaitwe and Mukiibi and others still at large between April 10 and 11 in Kampala robbed Martha Kay of two mobile phones which included; Samsung Galaxy S8 gold in color and iPhone X black in color.

The duo reportedly used a drug called scopolamine which made their victim lose her consciousness.

While in the unconsciousness state, the suspects made off with Shs 400,000, a Stanbic Bank ATM card and a driving permit.

Court heard that after the incident, the suspects, repeatedly using electronic communication, harassed their victim with intent to place her under reasonable fear for her safety.

They also tasked her to part with Shs10m to regain possession of the property they allegedly robbed.

They pleaded not guilty and were remanded till August 19.


Several female celebrities and socialites have been victims of leaked nudes including Sheebah Karungi, Cindy, Zari Hassan, Desire Luzinda, and Judith Heard among others.
