Two suspected thieves were yesterday beaten to death by a mob in Kabatanagi cell, Kazo sub county, Kazo District.
According to Rwizi police spokesperson Samson Kasasira, the deceased were accused of stealing a motorcycle from the Kazo weekly cattle market.
These, he says, were followed as they were taking off with the motorcycle until they were intercepted by the Bodaboda riders who lynched them.
“They were cornered at Nyabishekye in the farm of one Kinyabishaija where they were killed” Kasasira said.
Police led by the Ag. DPC ASP Kinene visited the scene and recovered the motorcycle Registration Number UEJ 378C, which was taken to Kazo Police Station and was yet to be claimed by the owner.
The bodies were taken to Kazo Health Center IV as police continues with the hunt of those involved in the mob action.
