Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City Football Club has confirmed two signings in Edwok Ronald and Karungi Godfrey from FUFA Big League club Light SS.
Both Edwok and Karungi join the Ankole Lions on a three year contract and will stay at Kakyeka Stadium until the climax of 2022/2023 season.
The duo becomes Mbarara City’s first signings in the transfer window as coach Brian Senyondo beefs up his squad going into the 2020/2021 season.
Mbarara City has also confirmed the return of Farouk Samali after completing his loan spell with another FUFA Big League side in HomeBoyz Football Club.
The new additions will fill the void left by Steven Kabuye and Bashir Muweesi who departed the club last week.
Also, Midfielder Ibrahim Orit left the Ankole Lions for current UPL champions Vipers Sports Club while Brian Aheebwa in on the verge of signing for KCCA FC.
The club however, has already extended contracts for key players including Bebe Swalik Segujja, Bamba Souleymane, Jude Ssemugabi and Pistis Barenge.
