Togo vs Uganda: Onyango Rested as Adebayor Starts for Togo

Uganda Cranes first choice custodian Dennis Onyango has been rested from the squad that will take on Togo in an international build up friendly on Tuesday Night at the Kegue stadium in Lome.

The match’s purpose is to shape the Cranes ahead of the tough worldcup qualifier opening duel versus Ghana in Tamale on Friday.

Coach Milutin’Micho’ Sredojevic has opted to start with El Merreikh goalie Salim Jamal while KCCA FC keeper Benjamin Ochan studies the match from the bench.

Vipers captain Nicholas Wadada gets the nod to continue in the right back position after a fine outing against Comoros last time out. Godfrey Walusimbi has been deployed on the left wing as Murshid Jjuko and Isaac Isinde provide shield for Jamal.

Hassan Waswa has returned to the first squad after starting from the bench in the Comoros game. He will partner Khalid Aucho in Manning the midfield while Luwagga and Miya create the chances for Massa. Dennis Iguma has also been slotted back and given an advanced role.
