Titans Out to Halt Oilers Unbeaten Run

City Oilers were a no match for all other teams in the first round of the National Basketball League (NBL) winning all their eleven games and started the second round on a good note edging past Ndejje University angels last Sunday.

On the other hand, KIU Titans had a horrible start to the season losing their first three games but finally got the ground that has seen them win nine consecutive games.

The Kansanga based side began their second round with a comprehensive win over lowly side Destiny phenoms and the game against the defending champions provides a timely chance for the Titans to seek revenge after losing to them 59- 76 in the first round.

With a nine unbeaten streak, the titans have literary proved they have the ability to condemn Oilers to their first loss this season. Oilers are averaging 74.7 points per game this season while the Hamza Nyambogo side are averaging 74.07 points.

In the women’s game, second placed A1 challenge will take on defending champions UCU lady cardinals who are currently third on the log.
