Police and sister security agencies have deployed heavily in Kabale Municipality ahead of the campaign rally of the National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine, who is launching his campaign Kigezi sub-region will be traversing the districts of Kabale, Kisoro, Rukiga and Rubanda.
At Kabale Central Police Station, police officers could be seen making preparations to ensure law and order and for the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be followed.
Kyagulanyi is heading to the sub region after fellow candidates Joseph Kabuleta (independent) and Nancy Linda Kalembe and Yoweri Museveni visited the area.
According to Jasper Ayebare, the NUP coordinator for Kigezi, Kyagulanyi will begin his campaigns in Kisoro, Rubanda and then Kabale before ending the day in Rukiga.
Most parts of Kabale remain painted yellow after Museveni’s visit on Saturday.
