The Real Reason Why Dancer Wembley Mo Beaten in Masaka

Renowned dancer Wembley Mo known will live to remember last Saturday night.

Wembley was beaten up to near pulp while he performed at Club Tavern in Masaka district owned by loaded businessman and music promoter Lwasa Emmanuel.

According to Wembley, the Masaka based promoter had booked rapper Fik Fameica through his manager Karma Ivan for a one man show but the ‘Born to Win’ hit maker was out of the country in Nairobi-Kenya for Coke Studio Africa.

To defuse the situation, Karma also booked other singers including Roden Y Kabako, Sasha Brighton, Daxx Kartel and Wembley.

However, when Wembley was about to hit stage, Karma Ivan told him to inform the audience who were waiting for Fik Fameica that he was out of the country but would perform for them free of charge upon return.

Wembley says the crowd received the announcement well but was surprised at venue owner’s reaction to the news.

It was then that Lwasa stormed stage grabbed Wembley and roughed him up saying he expected only Fik Fameica to perform because he is the one he booked.

Calm was restored by Police but by then Wembley had already received a thorough beating and is currently admitted at Alpha Medical Center nursing injuries sustained during the incident courtesy of Lwasa and his security detail.
